Positron combines engineering, art and design to create premium VR experiences.

To relaunch Positron's brand, I talked with founder Jeffrey Travis about his experience as both an engineer and a filmmaker.

We discussed our shared love of nostalgic space-age imagery and the moonshot ambitions of mid-century America. Those common interests became the launchpad for Positron's new identity. 

To create Positron's visual identity system, I designed:

  • a new logo 
  • business cards
  • letterhead
  • typographical guidelines
  • a universal color palette
  • presentation and proposal templates
  • storyboards for video case studies

Following are excerpts from the final design system:

Using the newly minted identity system, I storyboarded a flexible titling system for use in video projects.
